Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Add the butter, sugar, vanilla, and milk to stand mixer bowl.
  2. Using paddle attachment blend until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl combine the flour, baking soda, salt, and zest. Stir.
  4. Slowly add about half of the flour mixture and turn paddle on low.
  5. Add the egg, keep blending.
  6. Add the remaining flour blend, Mix until incorporated.
  7. The dough will be quite dry. Put into a plastic bag or wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  9. Put a piece of parchment paper on cookie sheet.
  10. Using a spoon or scoop make small balls and place on cookie sheet.
  11. Slightly press down.
  12. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  13. Let cool.
  14. In a small bowl blend the glaze ingredients.
  15. When cookies are cool use a small spoon and put glaze on top.
