Homemade Goldfish
Goldfish is a nostalgic treat that many of us loved growing up. The ingredients are complex and not as simple as they could be. This recipe shows you just how simple goldfish can be without all of the added stuff. The kids loved these and so did I!
Ingredients
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup All Purpose Flour
- 2 cup2 cup2 cup Cheddar Cheese

- 4 Tbsp4 Tbsp4 Tbsp Butter, Unsalted, Softened

- 2 - 4 Tbsp2 - 4 Tbsp2 - 4 Tbsp Water

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper, set aside.
- In a food processor, add your flour, cheese, and softened butter. Blend until your dough is formed. This is when you may need to add water depending on how the batter.
- Once your dough is formed, roll it out onto a flour surfaced. Using your goldfish mold, cut the goldfish pieces (just like a cookie cutter).
- Place the goldfish pieces on the cookie sheet.
- (Optional) drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt.
- Bake in the oven 10-12 minutes. Then, to crisp them up, broil them on low for 1-2 minutes (or longer depending on your crunchy desire).
- Enjoy!
