Not So Basic Macro Friendly Grilled Cheese – Desi Style
My not so basic lunch today ready in under 10 minutes.

This grilled cheese hits with crunch, spice, and comfort. I used thecha chutney for that desi kick 🔥 and still kept it macro-balanced.
Add a bag of protein chips to round out your meal.
Ingredients
- 2 pieces2 pieces2 pieces Classic White Bread - Hero

- 1 pieces1 pieces1 pieces Swiss Cheese, Jarlsberg
- 28 grams28 grams28 grams Cheddar Cheese, I used Kraft Fat Free Cheddar Cheese

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Add sliced cheese
- Top with vegetables
- Spread Thecha Chutney on one side of bread
- Top with shredded fat free cheddar cheese
- Spray bread with butter spray, add to pan
- Cook on each side for 3-4 minutes until the cheese melts and is gooey. When you flip the sandwich, spray butter on the other side. Flip it one more time quickly to let the butter melt and crisp the bread.
Notes
Have fun with it! You can add protein into it like sliced deli meat or a thin chicken breast (cooked).
