Spiced Apple Wine
This apple wine infused drink is perfect for cool weather sipping. Full of spices and infused with apple fruit juice, this wine is a comforting beverage as the weather cools. This wine cocktail can be served ice cold or heated gently over the stove for a cozy libation.
Ingredients
- 111 White Wine, Bottle, Pinot Grigio or Reisling
- 111 Vanilla Bean Pod, (or 1 tsp vanilla paste)
- 222 Organic Cinnamon Sticks - The Spice Lab

- 111 Bay Leaf, Large

- 222 Apple, Fuji, medium
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Crystallized Ginger, chopped (1 slice of premade)
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Pure Maple Syrup

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Slice apples small enough to fit through mouth of container you are using.
- Slice vanilla bean on side, creating a small slit.
- Add cinnamon sticks, bay leaf, ginger, vanilla and maple syrup to carafe.
- Add apples and top with full bottle of wine.
- Keep refrigerated for at least 8 hours. Swirl occasionally to release even more flavor.
- Serve this apple spice infused wine cold in a tumbler (no ice!) or heat gently over the stovetop for a warming, spicy toddy.
