Baked Spaghetti
This is a very easy and delicious recipe that is perfect for those busy weeknights! ENJOY!
Ingredients
- 1 lb1 lb1 lb 85% Lean Ground Beef - US Wellness Meats

- 0.50.50.5 Onion, 1/2 Large Onion Diced
- 24 oz24 oz24 oz Marinara Sauce
- 15 oz15 oz15 oz Tomato Sauce
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Himalayan Pink Salt

- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Garlic Powder

- 0.5 Tbsp0.5 Tbsp0.5 Tbsp Italian Seasoning

- 16 oz16 oz16 oz Cottage Cheese
- 111 Extra Virgin Olive Oil, To drizzle

- 4 oz4 oz4 oz Parmesan Cheese, Grated

- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Mozzarella, Shredded

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- In a large frying pan brown the beef over medium heat.
- Make the pasta in a large pot according to the package directions while the beef is cooking.
- Add the seasonings to the beef and mix until fully combined.
- Add the sauce to the beef and let the mixture simmer on low for about 20 minutes. Stirring occasionally.
- Drain the pasta and rinse with cool water.
- Add the pasta back into the large pot and drizzle with olive oil to prevent the noodles from sticking.
- Add the cottage cheese to the sauce and mix well.
- Add 3/4 of the sauce mixture to the noodles, then mix in half of the parmesan. Mix until evenly coated.
- Add the noodles to a large baking dish.
- Carefully pour the remaining sauce on top of the noodles.
- Then top with the remaining parmesan and mozzarella.
- Place the baking dish on top of a cooking sheet lined with aluminum foil. This is just in case the sauce drizzles over the side.
- Bake at 375 covered with foil for 30 minutes. Then bake uncovered for the remining 30.
- This makes excellent leftovers! Just pour some marinara sauce on the top and bake until warm.
