Crockpot Honey Garlic Chicken
I simply cannot get enough of Crockpot recipes for easy, meal prep friendly meals that the whole family always loves. This Honey Garlic Chicken is so incredibly flavorful and delicious served with rice and roasted broccoli for a balanced, nourishing dinner. If you'd like this to yield a larger quantity for leftovers/meal prep, I would recommend doubling the recipe!
Ingredients
- 1.5 lb1.5 lb1.5 lb Chicken Breasts, Boneless Skinless, 3-4 breasts

- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Liquid Aminos, or low sodium soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar
- 0.333 cup0.333 cup0.333 cup Honey

- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Tomato Paste

- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Sriracha
- 5 cloves5 cloves5 cloves Garlic, minced

- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Black Pepper

- 1 bunch1 bunch1 bunch Broccoli, roasted, for serving
- 3 cups3 cups3 cups Basmati Rice, cooked, for serving

- 1 pinch1 pinch1 pinch Sesame Seeds, for serving
- 222 Green Onion (Scallion), sliced, for serving

- 111 Avocado, sliced, for serving

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Add chicken breasts to the bottom of your Crockpot/slow cooker.
- Make sauce by whisking together liquid aminos, rice vinegar, honey, tomato paste, sriracha, garlic, and black pepper.
- Pour sauce over chicken to cover.
- Cook on high for 4 hours.
- When finished, use two forks to shred chicken.
- Serve over rice with roasted broccoli, and top with sesame seeds, green onion, and avocado. Enjoy!
Notes
If you would like to have more leftover for meal prep, I recommend doubling this recipe!
