Healthy Chocolate Chip Banana Bread
After staring at a bunch of overly-ripe bananas on my counter for too many days, I finally put them to good use in this insanely tasty Chocolate Chip Banana Bread. It's made with nourishing ingredients and baked up into a perfect golden brown that leaves your whole house smelling amazing!
Enjoy alongside a cup of coffee or for dessert with a little vanilla ice cream - you simply can't go wrong đŸ™‚
Ingredients
- 333 Banana, ripe (for mashing), plus one for topping (optional)
- 2 cup2 cup2 cup Almond Flour
- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Almond Butter, runny (or any nut butter of choice)
- 222 Eggs
- 3 tsp3 tsp3 tsp Baking Powder
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 0.333 tsp0.333 tsp0.333 tsp Kosher Salt
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Baking Chocolate Chips

Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking tin with parchment paper, and set aside.
- Add bananas to a large bowl, and mash.
- Add nut butter, eggs, maple syrup, and vanilla. Mix to combine.
- Add almond flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix to create a well-combined batter.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into baking tin, and spread into an even layer.
- Slice remaining banana lengthwise, and place on top of batter. Sprinkle with a few more chocolate ships.
- Bake for ~50 minutes, until top is golden brown and cake tester comes out clan (with only a few crumbs).
- Allow to sit for about 10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack. Allow to cool further before slicing. Enjoy!
