Asian Chili G/f
Such a fun spin on chili! Serve over some basmati rice to make it a complete meal. Easy, comforting, and so nutritious!
Ingredients
- 1 lb1 lb1 lb Stew Beef - US Wellness Meats

- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Sesame Oil

- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Black Pepper

- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Red Onion, Diced
- 3 cloves3 cloves3 cloves Garlic, Chopped

- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Ginger Root, Thumb, grated

- 1.5 cups1.5 cups1.5 cups Carrots, Chopped
- 4 cups4 cups4 cups Green Cabbage, Chopped
- 3 cups3 cups3 cups Bone Broth

- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Freeze-Dried Cherry Tomatoes - CITREVE, Or diced tomatoes

- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Barrel Aged Tamari Soy Sauce - Jozo

- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar
- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Chinese Five Spice - Primal Palate

- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Coconut Sugar

- 111 Cilantro
- 111 Green Onion (Scallion)

- 111 Basmati Rice, Cooked

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Preheat oven to 350°
- Add sesame oil to a medium-sized Dutch oven over medium heat
- Once the oil is hot add the stew meat
- Brown on all sides
- Add onion, carrot, garlic, ginger, pepper, and five-spice
- Cook for a few minutes until fragrant
- Add cabbage, broth, vinegar, tamari, tomatoes, sugar, and mix well
- Cover and bake at 350° for 3 1/2 hrs
- Serve over basmati rice and top with green onions and cilantro
- Enjoy!!
