Wasabi Cabbage Slaw
A crisp, refreshing slaw with a bold kick. Shredded green cabbage is tossed in a creamy lime–wasabi dressing, balanced with fresh cilantro for a pop of herbaceous flavor. Cool, crunchy, and gently spicy, this slaw adds a zesty bite that pairs perfectly with grilled meats, seafood, or tacos. Perfect with my teriyaki-inspired chicken slider recipe.

Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- While the sauce simmers and chicken cools, prepare the cabbage slaw.
- Wash, dry, and thinly slice ½ of a green cabbage. Place chopped cabbage in a large serving bowl.
- In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, wasabi, and lime juice. Make sure to break up the wasabi (it tends to clump). Then, add chopped cilantro. Taste and then add more wasabi if necessary (the flavor is subtle).
- Pour dressing over chopped cabbage and toss with your hands (use gloves, if you don't have gloves, use tongs). Toss until the dressing evenly coats each piece of cabbage. Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes before serving.
- Enjoy!
