Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- 1. Start by preheating your oven to 400 degrees.
- 2. Next add your tomatoes to the water to re-concentrate.
- 3. Chop your garlic. Then add your garlic and butter to a sauce pan on low and let melt.
- 4. Using a serrated knife, cut a hole in the middle of your sourdough. Make sure not to go through the bread. You are basically making a bowl. Next, cut 10-14 slices along the sides of the bread. This makes your pull apart bread. Make sure not to cut through the bread.
- 5. Pour your melted butter into the bread cavity. Try to get some into the cut slices.
- 6. Add your shredded mozzarella cheese in between the slices of the bread.
- 7. Now place half of your tomatoes in the middle of the cavity, top with your burrata cheese and the remaining tomatoes. Sprinkle your dried basil, oregano and salt and pepper on top.
- 8. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubble and the crust is toasted.
Notes
Optional: top with fresh basil or balsamic glaze. I love making these for a party. They are delicious and always a crowd pleaser. You can add your own spin to it.
