An easy, cozy shakshuka shortcut made with  garlic marinara. It tastes slow-cooked, a bit fancy and has so much flavor yet only takes 15 minutes.

  1. In a heated pan add. oil, garlic on bell pepper
  2. Saute for 5 minutes or until tender
  3. Pour the marinara into the skillet
  4. Simmer 3–5 minutes until gently bubbling.
  5. Make small wells in the sauce with a spoon. Crack each egg into a well.
  6. Cover the skillet and cook 5–8 minutes, until egg whites are set but yolks are still slightly jammy (or cook longer if you prefer firmer yolks).
  7. Season with salt and pepper. Top with feta and herbs. Serve straight from the skillet with bread for dipping.
