Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. In a medium sized mixing bowl add the eggs, milk, vanilla bean powder, salt, and cinnamon. Whisk until fully combined.
  2. Transfer the egg mixture to a large flat bowl or smaller baking dish. This is to ensure that the large pieces of sourdough can lay flat and fully absorb the egg mixture.
  3. Add the bread to the egg mixture and let the egg absorb for a couple minutes, flip and do the same for the other side.
  4. Add 2 tablespoons of the butter to a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. When the butter has melted, add the bread and cook.
  6. Flip the bread once it’s golden brown and easily removes from the pan.
  7. Flip and cook the other side until golden brown and easy to remove.
  8. Top with butter and syrup.
  9. ENJOY!
