Spring M&M Chocolate Chip Cookies
These Spring M&M Chocolate Chip Cookies are soft, thick, and bakery-style with chewy centers and lightly crisp edges. Made with brown sugar, extra egg yolks, and plenty of chocolate chips and pastel M&M’s, these cookies stay soft for days and are perfect for Easter, spring gatherings, or just a fun weekend bake. Ingredients
- 4 cups4 cups4 cups All Purpose Flour
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Baking Powder

- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Baking Soda
- 2 tsp2 tsp2 tsp Cornstarch, can go up to 4 teaspoons for softer cookie
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Salt

- 1.5 cups1.5 cups1.5 cups Butter, Unsalted, softened

- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Granulated White Sugar

- 1.5 cups1.5 cups1.5 cups Light Brown Sugar
- 222 Eggs, room temperature
- 222 Egg Yolk, room temperature
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Vanilla Extract

- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Milk, 2% or whole

- 2 cups2 cups2 cups Mini Chocolate Chips, Semi-Sweet

- 2 cups2 cups2 cups M&M's, Milk Chocolate (Plain), plus extra for topping; spring color. or any plain M&M candy

- Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cornstarch, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs, egg yolks, vanilla, and milk and mix until smooth.
- Stir in the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in mini chocolate chips and M&M’s.
- Scoop large cookie dough balls (about 2 tablespoons each) onto baking sheet.
- Bake for 10–11 minutes. Centers should look slightly underbaked.
- Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 10 minutes before moving.
