Refreshing Watermelon Slushie
This refreshing watermelon slushie is the perfect summer treat, taking advantage of this delicious seasonal fruit! Keep the frozen watermelon cubes on hand to make this recipe quickly and easily.
Ingredients
- 3 cups3 cups3 cups Watermelon, cubed
- 16 oz16 oz16 oz Coconut Water
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Lime Juice, Juice of 1/2 lime
- 2 sprig2 sprig2 sprig Mint Leaves, for garnish
- Lime, slices, for garnish
Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Cut the watermelon in half. Slice away the rind, then cut into 1" cubes.
- Place the watermelon cubes in a ziploc bag and freeze (at least 4 hours, ideally overnight).
- Place the frozen watermelon cubes into a high speed blender, along with 16 oz of coconut water and the lime juice. Blend until smooth.
- Serve immediately with a garnish of fresh mint and lime slices.
