At FoodSocial, our core is our community. While many companies use community as a buzzword, we’re actually weaving it into the fabric of everything we do. From platform features to campaigns and activations, daily lives, and more — our community-first approach is our key to building a unique place for creators, brands, and home cooks to call home.

Platform

Our mission is to be the best home for creators, and our platform reflects that. This year, our major updates empowered creators to distribute delicious content to both their existing audiences and to brand-new ones.

FoodSocial App

We kicked off the year by launching our app, bringing creators their audiences closer than ever through notifications. Soon after we introduced Collections — beautiful, shareable recipe lists. The community has loved curating and sharing themed Collections, uplifting one another by including recipes from fellow creators.

Shop app – Recipes Mini

This fall we launched Recipes by FoodSocial, a Mini on the Shop app. We are the first community to serve recipes to Shop’s hundreds of millions of shoppers through our Mini, which brings FoodSocial directly within the Shop app. Shop’s audience can now explore thousands of recipes to find a new favorite dish, creator, or product. Happy Hours

We host happy hours and office hours every week, giving creators and brands a chance to connect, chat, and build connections with one another.

Whether it be through social media best practice discussions, cooking ideas, tips-n-tricks, cake-baking tutorials, or sharing on podcasts, the community has loved collaborating to help one another succeed in the crazy influencer world.

Multi-brand Campaigns

In 2025, we doubled down on collaborative recipe campaigns. Supported by nine brands, these unique activations brought together nearly 100 creators to generate a collective 374 stunning recipes with over 1,000 pieces of UGC. Creators loved getting inventive with new themes and exciting products, while brands delighted in seeing their products used in new ways. Each campaign included live-streamed shoppable shows featuring the people behind the products and the recipes.

We believe in building in public — for us, that means giving everyone in our community a seat at the table. We congregate in quarterly Town Halls to review important updates, share what’s on the horizon, and gather input from the entire community.

Our monthly “Bites” email turns 25! We just celebrated our 25th community newsletter, filled with creator spotlights, brand updates, and the latest momentum across FoodSocial. Read more.

For our thousands of subscribing home cooks, we sent out beautiful recipe and product focused newsletters twice-a-week.

Industry and trade show meetups

This year, in-person FoodSocial meetups took place in Las Vegas (Tastemaker Conference and Fancy Food Show), in Anaheim (Expo West), and in New York City (Summer Fancy Food Show).

Recipe Content Growth

Amazing recipes from our talented and trusted creators remains our north star. Our creator and brand community doubled again, and we gained over 4000 recipes, passing 11,000 recipes and growing daily. Recipe video content from socials is growing rapidly on FoodSocial to give all the amazing recipe content a long and prosperous home.

Daily live shows and shopping

Later in the summer, we launched a daily live show, bringing a fresh format to recipes, cooking tips, recipe demos with creator and brand guests, and lively discussion around various food topics. We hosted over 50 shoppable shows, powered by Stage Ten and syndicated to several channels.

Creator-led Initiatives

Our creator community drove several massive initiatives, including a co-branded product launch, community workshops, and spreading the word about our thriving community across a wide range of channels and podcasts.
