4 Ingredient Tortillas
If you are looking for a an easy tortilla recipe that takes little to no time to prepare, then this is recipe for you. These homemade tortillas have only 4 ingredients while prepackaged ones have almost 20 ingredients. These freeze great and perfect for sandwiches, tacos, quesadillas etc.
Ingredients
- 2 cups2 cups2 cups All Purpose Flour
- 0.666 cup0.666 cup0.666 cup Water, 85F - 90F
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Avocado Oil
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Salt

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- In a mixing bowl, add your flour, salt, water and oil.
- Mix until you have a shaggy dough.
- Knead by hand for 10 mins or in your stand mixer 6-7 minutes
- Once dough is done, divide into 12 (30g-40g) dough balls or 6 (80g) dough balls.
- On a clean work surface, form dough into ball by using the push and pull in method creating surface tension.
- On a baking sheet, place dough balls on and brush with oil to prevent from drying out.
- Let gluten relax for 15-20 mins.
- I’m n a clean work surface, roll out as thin as possible.
- In a hot non-stick pan, place dough and cook tortilla on each side for 30-45 seconds.
- Stack tortillas on a damp towel and keep covered.
- The steam from the damp tortilla will prevent tortilla from hardening or drying out.
