5 Min Mayo (Dairy Free, Egg Free)
This is a recipe for a quick and delicious 'egg free and dairy free' mayonnaise that uses avocado oil! It comes together in 5 minutes and uses only about 5 ingredients!
Ingredients
- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Soy Milk, or coconut milk
- 0.25 tsp0.25 tsp0.25 tsp Sea Salt
- 0.25 tsp0.25 tsp0.25 tsp Garlic Powder
- .25 tsp.25 tsp.25 tsp Dijon Mustard, or mustard powder
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Avocado Oil
Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- In a glass jar of an immersion blender (or any other jar which can fit an immersion blender), add the non dairy milk and the seasonings. Stir loosely with a fork to mix.
- Next add the avocado oil. Let the mixture sit for 1 full minute.
- Then place the immersion blender in the bottom of the jar and start the blender. Do not move the jar up from the bottom and let the blender whiz for a full minute or until you see a creamy emulsion form. Then slowly start moving the blender up and down and continue blending for 1 more minute until you get a creamy mayo! Turn the blender off.
Notes
It is very important to have the non dairy milk at room temperature. When using coconut milk, make sure to whisk it beforehand to remove any lumps.
