Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease 10-inch ceramic baking dish with plant butter.
  2. In medium bowl, combine canned items. Stir in taco seasoning & lime juice.
  3. Spread mixture in even layer in baking dish.
  4. Evenly spread queso-style dip over the top.
  5. Arrange tater tots, side-by-side, in a single layer.
  6. Bake 20-25 minutes. If tots are not as crisp as you like, place under broiler for 30-seconds to 2 minutes.
  7. Garnish with sliced green onions, crushed tortilla chips and jalapeños, if desired. Delicious served with a side of sliced avocado or topped with fresh guacamole. Serves 6.

Notes

In place of 8oz container of plant-based, queso style dip, 1 1/4-to- 1 1/2 cups shredded vegan cheddar cheese can be substituted. Reheats well as leftovers in oven or microwave.
