Ingredients

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400° Fahrenheit.
  2. Peel and core the apples, then slice them into about ¾-inch slices (each half in at least 8 slices or more if the apples are big).
  3. Add the sliced apples to a bowl, then toss them well with brown sugar, vanilla extract and cinnamon until all coated.
  4. Spray preheated air fryer's basket with spray cooking oil generously, then add the seasoned apples in a single layer, and spray a little bit on top. Cook for 10-13 minutes, shaking the basket a few times in between (every 4-ish minutes)
  5. Once the apples are tender when poked with a fork, with brown edges, carefully remove them from air fryer and serve warm with topping of choice such as ice cream, granola, whipped cream, yogurt. Enjoy!

Notes

Sugar: use more brown sugar if you want the air fryer apples to be sweeter. You can also replace it with white sugar, keto sweetener, maple syrup or even honey. Spray cooking oil: make sure the spray you use is air fryer safe as some non-stick sprays containing chemicals can damage the air fryer basket. Spray containing oil only such as avocado or olive oil is best.
