Best Gluten Free Pasta (Edit recipe)

This is one of the easiest gluten free pasta dishes and truly lets the flavors speak for themselves. I used a homemade marinara, but any jarred sauce you love or one you make from scratch works beautifully. Add a sprinkle of grated parmesan, soft dollops of ricotta, and plenty of fresh herbs to bring it all together. Simple meals like this remind me how much great ingredients matter. A good gluten free pasta makes all the difference. I often reach for fun shapes like farfalle or mafalda, but any shape you enjoy will work just as well. Serve it in your favorite dish and enjoy every cozy bite.

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions, then drain and rinse. I've found that rinsing helps especially well with gluten free pasta.
  2. Return the pasta to the pot and toss with your sauce and some fresh herbs until evenly coated.
  3. Transfer the saucy pasta to a serving dish. Finish with a sprinkle of parmesan, dollops of ricotta and more fresh herbs. Adjust amounts to your taste.
  4. Serve warm, with homemade gluten free garlic bread if you’d like. You can add grilled chicken or shrimp for extra protein, or round it out with a simple side salad.
