Everyday Tangerine Vinaigrette
This vinaigrette is light, bright, and full of fresh flavor. It's perfect for all your summer salads. I’ve been making it on repeat and love how easy it is to whip up for a quick lunch or to bring along to a gathering. I always reach for my favorite honey and this lovely tangerine vinegar to give it that little something special.
Ingredients
- 6 Tbsp6 Tbsp6 Tbsp Crushed Tangerine Vinegar - Kosterina
- 2 tsp2 tsp2 tsp Dijon Mustard
- 3/4 tsp3/4 tsp3/4 tsp Honey - Shannon Farms, wildflower
- 1 clove1 clove1 clove Garlic, large, finely grated
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Shallot, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup1/2 cup1/2 cup Olive Oil
- 2 tsp2 tsp2 tsp Olive Oil, Basil Infused, *use marinade from marinated artichokes from Trader Joe's!
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Add all ingredients to a jar with a lid and shake well until fully combined. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
- For best flavor, let it sit for a few hours before serving, but it’s still great right away.
Notes
A few notes for when you're making it: If you’d like the vinaigrette a little less sweet, start with just ½ teaspoon of honey and adjust from there. For a stronger kick of the tangerine vinegar, simply use a bit less oil. I like to use the oil from marinated artichokes when I have a jar open, as it adds a subtle extra layer of flavor, but the recipe is still delicious without it. This dressing is super versatile, so feel free to make it your own!
