Dairy Queen Copycat, but this version is high protein, naturally sweetened, dairy free, and loaded with goodness! I used my favorite protein powder from Just ingredients brand (in unflavored here). Clean ingredients and no fillers or gums. Use code colleenF10 to save sitewide! I’m also obsessed with new wavy glasses! You can find them here

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Blend / process all ingredients together, minus chocolate chunks, until smooth. Scrape the sides in been blends, but try not to add more liquid unless necessary or it will thin it out
  2. Fold in chocolate chunks
  3. Since there are so many frozen ingredients here it will be thick and ready to enjoy right away

Notes

**SUBS: frozen avocado, frozen banana, tofu, or soft cashews (soaked in hot water for 20min) will all help achieve the thick and creamy texture of the blizzard. I tried with banana first and the texture was perfect, but note you can slightly taste the banana - it was more of a cherry banana flavor **I added collagen as my protein source because I didn't want to change the color, but now that I've tasted it I believe a chocolate protein powder would be a delicious touch
