Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Boil 1 cup of water.
- Place tea bags into the mug and pour the boiling water over the tea bags. Let the tea steep for 5-7 minutes. You want a nice strong tea.
- Add the cinnamon, vanilla extract and milk to a small pitcher or measuring cup.
- Heat the milk until steaming (not boiling), then froth with a frother or whisk.
- Remove the tea bags and add the desired amount of sugar to the tea. Stir to combine.
- Pour the frothed milk over the tea.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar if desired.
Notes
Two tea bags give a nice strong flavor to the tea. If you want to use 1 tea bag reduce the amount of milk you are adding. Cinnamon can be a bit overpowering, start with the lesser amount, especially if you are topping the latte with cinnamon sugar or plain cinnamon.
