Ingredients

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Heat large nonstick skillet over medium heat; stir in onions.
  2. Add salt, pepper & maple syrup to onions; stir. Continue to stir frequently until onions are golden & caramelized, about 20-25 minutes. Remove skillet from heat; stir in 1 Tbsp everything bagel seasoning. Allow onions to cool completely.
  3. Spoon yogurt into serving bowl. Stir in cooled onions. Garnish with additional 2 Tsp everything bagel seasoning & green onions.
  4. Serve with crispy gluten-free tater tots and your choice of veggies for dipping. Serves 6-10+

Notes

Dip can be made 1 day ahead. Onions can be cooked and refrigerated 1 day ahead and mixed with the yogurt right before serving. Keep a close eye on the onions while cooking so they don’t get too dark,  as they will taste burnt. You want them to be a golden brown, caramel color. Please note that if you are cooking on a gas or induction cooktop, onions will likely caramelize quicker than the suggested 20-25 minute cooking time.
