High Protein Cheese Samosas
A little nostalgia, a little protein 💛
These cheese samosas are my macro-friendly twist on my mom’s famous recipe — still crispy, cheesy, and packed with flavor… just lighter and higher in protein (25g per serving!).
Perfect for when you want comfort food that still fits your goals 💪
Ingredients
- 28 grams28 grams28 grams Lite Mexican Style Cheese Blend, Shredded - Trader Joe's
- 28 grams28 grams28 grams Cheddar Cheese, I used Kraft Fat Free Shredded Cheddar Cheese

- 25 grams25 grams25 grams Peas, Green, frozen
- 4 Tbsp4 Tbsp4 Tbsp Onion, diced
- 4 Tbsp4 Tbsp4 Tbsp Jalapeños, Pickled, chopped
- 2 whole2 whole2 whole High Protein Tortillas - Rise & Puff
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Heritage White Flour - Sunrise Flour Mill

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Prepare Mixture: Mix cheeses, peas, vegetables, jalapenos, salt & pepper to combine.
- Make Paste: Mix white flour with a little bit of water to make a paste to glue the tortilla together.
- Slice Tortillas in half
- Fold into a cone shape in one hand
- Spread the paste on the folded side and push down so that it begins to stick
- As you are holding the tortilla like a cone, fill with filling and push down so that you get enough filling in.
- Then fold over to close, add paste to one side to close and form a sealed triangle.
- Spray samosas with oil spray. Add to air fryer at 375 for 6-8 minutes. Flip halfway through and adjust time as needed.
