This Asian style chicken recipe is by no means traditional, it is simply something I’ve concocted in my kitchen that I thought really paired well together. It definitely gives you a burst of those Asian flavours, but it is not overpowering. This recipe is simple and can be made in less than 30 mins. Another weeknight recipe for the books!

  1. In a bowl, add all your ingredients minus the honey and mix it up.
  2. Using half of your marinade, let your chicken marinate in the mixture for a minimum 2 hours for best results, but if time is a factor, then cook immediately.
  3. Remove your chicken from the refrigerator and let it come up to room temperature for 20-30 mins.
  4. Place chicken in a 425F for 15 mins.
  5. With the other half of your marinade, add your honey and mix in.
  6. Remove the chicken from your oven and brush marinade on and add sesame seeds.
  7. Place back in the oven for an additional 10 mins.
  8. Serve on a bed of rice with your favourite vegetables.
