This Italian Sloppy Joe is a mix of rich, meaty Bolognese and cheesy garlic bread, all in one epic sandwich. And because we’re using Sturdy Marinara Sauce, you’re getting extra protein in every bite. Each serving comes in at around 30g of protein and 500 calories.

With layers of tender zucchini, creamy ricotta, and rich marinara, it’s everything you love about lasagna—minus the guilt. Perfect for holiday dinners or meal prep!

  1. Cook the meat sauce.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, cook for 2 minutes. Add ground beef, cook until browned. Pour in Sturdy Marinara Sauce, season with salt & pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes while you make the garlic bread.
  3. Make the garlic bread
  4. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Mix butter and garlic, spread on rolls. Sprinkle rolls with mozzarella and red pepper flakes. Bake for 5-7 minutes until golden.
  5. Assemble & enjoy.
  6. Load the toasted garlic rolls with the meat sauce. Add extra cheese if you want (because why not?). Serve hot and enjoy the messy, cheesy, garlicky goodness!

Notes

Why Sturdy Sauce?

Because regular marinara just doesn’t cut it.

  • 20g protein per serving (80g protein per jar) = real nutrition in every bite

  • Zero-added sugar, seed oil-free, and keto-friendly

  • Bold, rich flavor that makes every meal better

With Sturdy Sauce, you’re not just eating. You’re fueling up. This is the way sauce was meant to be.
