Jalapeño Poppers
The jalapeño peppers were huge this week at the grocery store…so obviously I thought poppers! These tasty treats are full of flavor with a hint of spice but not too much heat (unless you leave the seeds in) and creamy, cheesy, you will adore them.
I used Primal Palate’s meat & potatoes seasoning and Jozo’s barrel aged shoyu. Shop Here and use code ALOHA for an added discount.

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Turn oven on to 300 degrees and lightly oil a small sheet pan.
- Prepare peppers and set on a plate. Wash your hands VERY well and don’t touch your face.
- In a medium bowl combine cream cheese, onion, cheddar cheese, and spice. Stir until well combined.
- Using a teaspoon fill the pepper cavity with cheese mixture and smooth out tops.
- Wrap each pepper piece with one piece of bacon. Wrap around covering as much of the top as possible, but try not to stretch the bacon.
- Using a small brush cover the top of the bacon with glaze. Use all of it, coat sides if possible.
- Fix the end of the bacon piece with a toothpick to hold while cooking.
- Cook for 45-50 minutes, depending on size of peppers.
Notes
Depending on the size of your peppers you may need a bit more of the cheese mixture, it can be increased easily as needed. If you have extra fill the peppers up a bit more.
