  1. Make the pecans by combining all of the ingredients in a medium sized mixing bowl.
  2. Mix well until fully combined and place on a small baking sheet.
  3. Bake at 300 for 25 - 30 minutes, stirring every 5 - 10 minutes.
  4. Let the pecans cool in the pan and sauce will continue to thicken.
  5. Mix until the sauce fully coats the pecans.
  6. These pecans are incredible on ANYTHING or just as a sweet snack.
  7. Make the waffles by combining all of the ingredients to a food processor.
  8. The waffle batter is thick, and a food processor really helps combine all of the ingredients evenly.
  9. Process until smooth.
  10. Heat your waffle maker on high.
  11. Add the batter to the waffle maker.
  12. This batter is thick, so cook until fully heated through, and brown on both sides.
  13. Serve with the pecans and your favorite waffle toppings.
