Mint Lemonade
Enjoy the refreshing taste of summer with our Mint Lemonade recipe. Made with fresh lemons and mint simple syrup, it's the perfect drink for any gathering. Try it with sparkling water for an extra fizz!
Ingredients
Lemonade
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Lemon Juice
- 2.5 cups2.5 cups2.5 cups Water
- .25 cup.25 cup.25 cup Granulated White Sugar
- .5 cup.5 cup.5 cup Simple Syrup, from below
Mint Simple Syrup
- 2 cups2 cups2 cups Water
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Granulated White Sugar
- .25 cup.25 cup.25 cup Mint Leaves, fresh
Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
Mint simple syrup
- Combine the sugar and water in a pot on the stove bringing it to a boil until the sugar dissolve.
- Turn the heat down to a simmer and then add the mint leaves and cook for 10 minutes.
- Let it cool, use and store extra in a mason jar in the fridge for up to 2 weeks!
Lemonade
- Juice ~5 lemons to get 1 cup of lemon juice
- Combine lemon juice with water, sugar and mint syrup. Serve over ice and enjoy!
