No bake Java Crumble Cookie Dough Cones (Edit recipe)

A fun summer treat is stuffing ice cream cones with cookie dough instead of ice cream. They’re delicious and healthy, plus, they are mess free for the kids! I love making cookie dough flavors that represent ice cream, stuffing the cones and dipping them in chocolate! They will be a crowd pleaser!

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, add your almond butter, almond flour and maple syrup. Mix together until your cookie dough forms.
  2. 2. Take your waffle cone or ice cream cone of choice and stuff it with cookie dough. Using an ice cream scoop, scoop the top of the cookie dough and put it on top of the ice cream cone making it look like a scoop of ice cream. Place in freezer.
  3. 3. Melt your chocolate while the cookie dough is hardening. After 5 minutes, dip the ice cream cone in the chocolate and sprinkle with sea salt. Let the chocolate harden and enjoy!

Notes

For the almond butter: I used the Java chip American dream nut butter for this recipe. If you do not have this nut butter, you can always add a tsp of coffee extract to your cookie dough. This almond butter also has Oreos in it. If you decide to use regular almond butter, add crushed Oreos to the cookie dough!
