Roasted Red Pepper Pizza Pockets
These pizza hearts are filled with cheesy goodness, and paired with the most DELICIOUS roasted red pepper dipping sauce! Seriously I wanted to dip any and everything into this sauce!
Ingredients
- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Paleo/GF Pie Crust (click for recipe)
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Fresh Mozzarella
- .25 cup.25 cup.25 cup Red Onion, Onion, mushrooms, peppers, and diced veggies
- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Egg Whites, For egg wash
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Parmesan Cheese
- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Roasted Red Pepper, 1 jar, drained well
- 3 Tbsp3 Tbsp3 Tbsp Parmesan Cheese
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Flat Leaf Parsley
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Lemon Juice
- 2 oz2 oz2 oz Almonds, Roasted
- 1 clove1 clove1 clove Garlic
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Use a heart cookie cutter to your crust
- Place mozzarella inside, veggies (whatever veggies you'd top on your pizza), and more cheese
- Top with remaining hearts of dough, use a fork to seal the sides, brush with egg white and sprinkle parmasean over top
- Freeze for 15 min & make your red pepper sauce by processing all ingredients together until just slightly chunky
- Bake at 400 for 10-12 minutes until golden on top
- Serve warm and enjoy!
