Spicy Maple Syrup Sausage Frittata
This frittata is loaded with protein and just the perfect amount of spicy and sweet! The homemade sausage is so easy to make and absolutely delicious!
Ingredients
- 888 Eggs
- 16 oz16 oz16 oz Cottage Cheese, Whole milk
- 0.333 cup0.333 cup0.333 cup Cassava Flour

- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Salt

- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Black Pepper

- 111 Jalapeño Pepper, Sliced
- 1 lb1 lb1 lb Ground Chicken

- 0.25 cups0.25 cups0.25 cups Pure Maple Syrup
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Sage, Dried

- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Thyme, Dried

- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Red Pepper Flakes

- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Salt

- 0.25 tsp0.25 tsp0.25 tsp Black Pepper

- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Onion Powder

- 1) Mix all ingredients for the sausage and cook in a 10-inch cast iron pan
- 2) Mix all other ingredients well in a separate bowl
- 3) Once the sausage is cooked, let it cool for 15 minutes, and then pour the egg mixture on top
- 4) Mix egg mixture and sausage
- 5) Place sliced jalapeños on top and place a piece of parchment paper on top
- 6) Cook for 30-35 mins in a 375° oven or until the egg is set
- 7) Enjoy!
