The Perfect Brisket
This Brisket is Perfect is how my son described it! And hence the name 'The Perfect Brisket'! I have made brisket in a few different ways including slow cooker and the Instant Pot. But this time I wanted to try making it in the oven and I am so glad I did! It came out with a beautiful crust and soft and melt-in-the-mouth in the middle. I used US Wellness Meat's Beef Brisket and the quality of the meat made all the difference to the dish! It's a very simple recipe. I used Primal Palate's Meat and Potatoes seasoning and Primal Palate's Steak seasoning and that's all it needed! Turned out so delicious!

- Pre-heat oven to 425 F.
- Take a large roasting pan and place the potatoes in them. Add the olive oil and 1 tbsp of the meat and potatoes seasoning. Using your hands mix the seasoning well over all the potatoes.
- Next sprinkle the rest of the meat and potatoes seasoning as well as the steak seasoning all over the brisket. Rub the top and the bottom and the sides of the brisket well with the rub. Place the brisket with the fat side up over the potatoes on the pan. Place the pan on the bottom rack of the oven and bake for 1 hour , 15 mins.
- Remove pan from the oven and carefully transfer the potatoes onto a serving dish and place the brisket bak on the pan and pour the beef broth into the pan. Lower the oven temperature to 300 F. Cover the pan with Al foil and place the pan back into the oven and roast at 300 F for 2 hours and 30 mins.
- Let the meat remain covered until serving.
Notes
If you are serving at a later time, then just before serving you can warm the brisket in the oven at 350F (covered) for about 10 minutes.
