Winter Citrus Salad
This winter citrus salad recipe is layered with sliced oranges, lemons and grapefruit and topped off with a maple ginger vanilla dressing and chopped pistachios. This refreshingly easy salad is perfect for brunch or breakfast!
Ingredients
- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Grapefruit, Red, large
- 2 whole2 whole2 whole Blood Orange, medium
- 2 whole2 whole2 whole Orange, medium cara cara
- 2 whole2 whole2 whole Meyer Lemon, medium
- 2 whole2 whole2 whole Orange, medium mandarin
- .25 cup.25 cup.25 cup Pure Maple Syrup
- .5 tsp.5 tsp.5 tsp Ginger Root, grated fresh
- .5 tsp.5 tsp.5 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 pinch1 pinch1 pinch Kosher Salt
- .125 cup.125 cup.125 cup Pistachios, Raw, shelled and chopped
Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Cut the peels and pith off all of the citrus and cut them it into 1/4 - 1/2 inch slices. Layer the sliced citrus on a platter or serving plate.
- In a small bowl, combine maple syrup, ginger, vanilla, and salt and whisk to combine. Drizzle the dressing over all of the sliced citrus and top with chopped pistachios.
