Iced Vanilla Milk w/ Chia Seeds
This ICED VANILLA MILK w/ CHIA SEEDS may not look like much, but it sure packs a lot of nutrition in one little glass! Chia seeds are full of fiber, healthy fats & are a great source for tryptophan & protein. #brainfood- To mix things up a bit, I added some collagen too - trying to up my protein! Grab that frother & give it a try! Depending on the milk you use, there is roughly: 13g of protein, 8g of fiber and while the chia seeds do add carbs, we all know that carbs are not created equally!
Ingredients
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Vanilla Bean Almond Milk (Three Trees), or almond milk of choice
- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Vanilla Collagen - Further Food, 1 scoop/serving (or collagen of choice)
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp White Chia Seeds (Suncore Foods), or chia seeds of choice
- 1 pinch1 pinch1 pinch ground (vanilla bean powder) Vanilla Beans, optional
- .125 tsp.125 tsp.125 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract, optional
- 1 pinch1 pinch1 pinch Sea Salt, optional
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Pure Maple Syrup, optional if you want it a bit sweeter
- 1 bunch1 bunch1 bunch Ice cubes, use however much works for your glass

Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Add milk to drinking glass along with the collagen and froth until fully combined.
- Spoon in the chia seeds and froth again to fully combine.
- If using the vanilla powder, vanilla extract, salt and maple syrup, add those and froth again until all ingredients are fully combined.
- Add ice, sip and ENJOY!
