Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. In a small saucepan, add the butter and let it cook on medium-low until browned. You will know it's done when the butter starts to foam at the top and brown bits float to the surface. Make sure to keep an eye on it as it can burn very quickly.
  2. Once the butter has cooled, in a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, add the butter, peanut butter, granulated white sugar and brown sugar and mix until smooth.
  3. Add in the eggs and vanilla and mix until fully incorporated, making sure to scrape the sides.
  4. Finally, add the flour, baking soda, and salt and mix until fully combined.
  5. In a 9x9 pan lined with parchment paper long enough so you can lift the blondie out once it's done, add have the dough and press down until smooth and even.
  6. Add a layer of Reese's peanut butter cups. In a 9x9 pan, you should be able to fit about 16 of them.
  7. Add the remainder of the dough and smooth it out evenly.
  8. Bake the blondie for about 22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out smooth.
  9. Once the blondie is done, while it is still hot, you can add some more Reese's pieces cut into quarters on the top.
  10. Optionally, you can also drizzle some melted peanut butter and semi-sweet chocolate and enjoy!
