These little cinnamon sugary dough bites are one of my favorite snacks to quickly whip up. I have only tested this using the Trader Joe’s gluten free refrigerated pizza dough (but it’s possible it may work with others too). This treat has been on repeat for over a year now, and my daughter and hubby always love when they're fresh from the air fryer too. Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F.
  2. Divide the pizza dough into small portions and roll them into balls (about 12 pieces).
  3. Lightly coat the pizza dough balls with cooking spray.
  4. Add the cinnamon sugar blend into a bowl, then toss the dough balls in it until they're fully coated.
  5. Place the coated dough balls in the preheated air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Air fry at 350°F for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket gently a few times for even cooking. Check around the 6-minute mark to adjust for your preferred doneness, as cooking time may vary by size and air fryer model. The dough naturally has a chewy, dense texture, so expect that! If the bites seem undercooked, cut them in half and air fry for a few more minutes until done!
  7. Once the dough is slightly golden on the outside, ensure it's fully cooked inside before removing them from the air fryer to enjoy while they're still warm!

Notes

Cooking time may fluctuate based on your air fryer and how large each of the dough bites are. The bigger they are, the more time they may require to cook, and the smaller they are, the less time they may need to cook. Giving them a shake halfway through allows for the most even cooking. Make sure they are fully cooked inside before devouring. These bites are best enjoyed while still warm - I'd recommend making them fresh rather than storing them once they're already made, as the texture will change once they're refrigerated and reheated. They're simple enough to quickly whip up when the mood strikes!
