Cosmo Holiday Tea
For this specific toddy recipe, we’ve spun a Nepali twist to it. Usually prepared in hot water, we will be adding Nepal Tea Collective’s most aromatic blend - Kathmandu Cosmos. We can already feel the scented aroma engulfing a crisp winter evening. We promise you this cocktail will bring a blanket to your soul with every sip!
Ingredients
- 8 oz8 oz8 oz Water
- 4 grams4 grams4 grams Nepal Tea Collective Kathmandu Cosmos - Loose Leaf
- 1 pinch1 pinch1 pinch Vanilla Paste, vanilla powder or extract, to taste
- 2-4 Tbsp2-4 Tbsp2-4 Tbsp Honey, or maple syrup or molasses, to taste
- 2 oz2 oz2 oz Uncle Nearest 1884 Small Batch Whiskey, or brand of choice
- .125 whole.125 whole.125 whole Lemon, 1 wedge/slice for garnish, optional garnish

Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- In a small pot, boil the water. As the water begins to boil, add 4 grams of Kathmandu Cosmos. Add vanilla if using. As the tea starts to boil, turn off the heat.
- Add 4 tablespoons of your sweetener to the tea and stir, then strain the drink into the vessel of your choice.
- When we made this we tried whisky and it was delicious! We’re curious to know how red wine would work here too. If you’re willing to experiment, then do let us know!
- Let the wedge of lemon float in the mug. Serve and enjoy!
