Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Peel potatoes, then cut them into large chunks.
  2. Place the potatoes in a large pot and rinse with cold water so there is no foam. Then, cook the potatoes over low heat, covered with a lid. You can add salt during cooking or after the potatoes are cooked.
  3. When the potatoes are ready (you can check it with a fork – if the fork appears without resistance, it means the potatoes are resistant). Then, drain the potatoes and add the butter, cream, and nutmeg to the hot potatoes. Whip these well, and they will be the tastiest. A good option is to whip everything with a hand mixer and whisk attachments. If you don’t have a mixer, mash the potatoes with a fork, add the cream, butter, and nutmeg, and whip everything in one direction, in circular motions, preferably with a wooden spoon, until it reaches the desired fluffiness.
  4. Sprinkle with chives and dill. Add extra butter for more taste.
  5. Enjoy!
