Hot Cocoa Protein Date Cups
These protein date cups are so delicious and refreshing! Pop one out of the freezer when you want a healthy treat. Dairy-free, vegan, and gluten-free, you won’t be able to stop at one!
Ingredients
- 24 whole24 whole24 whole Medjool Dates
- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Coconut Whipped Topping, One container
- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Chocolate Protein Powder

- 0.333 cup0.333 cup0.333 cup Mini Chocolate Chips, Semi-Sweet, Or a mix of toppings (crushed candy cane, more whipped cream, etc.)

- 12 whole12 whole12 whole Chocolate Covered Pretzels, Or regular pretzels (this part is optional!)

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Place pitted dates in the cups of a mini silicone muffin pan. Using a teaspoon, mold the dates into mini cups. Place in freezer.
- Transfer an entire container of frozen whipped cream into a bowl, add chocolate protein powder and combine.
- Remove dates from freezer and fill cups with cool whip mixture. Top dates with toppings of choice and freeze for one hour.
- Optional: add pretzel ends dipped in chocolate to date cups for a little handle and freeze.
- Enjoy straight from the freezer!
Notes
Feel free to use any frozen cool whip topping, I used dairy-free but there are dairy options as well!
