This chickpea burger is one of the easiest and best veggie burgers I've made! It holds up well has lots of flavour and is packed with plant-based protein and fibre. It all comes together in a food processor, making clean-up a breeze.

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. To a food processor, combine all ingredients together and pulse for 10 seconds. Scrape down the sides and continue to pulse until it is sticky and holds together, but there are still some chunks remaining.
  2. Use a large spoon to scoop up the chickpea mixture and roll into balls, then flatten slightly with your hand to form a patty.
  3. Heat up a frying pan on medium heat with oil, and cook the burgers for about 5 minutes on each side. Cook until they become a golden brown colour, a total of about 10-15 minutes.
  4. Assemble your burger by adding the condiment of choice to your bun. Then add lettuce, tomato, cheese, your chickpea patty, and spread ILIOS artichoke bruschetta to one side of your bun.
