One way to get a serving of veggies in your kids is by making homemade crackers. Please be made with sweet potatoes or pumpkin. They’re super easy to make and do not call for very many ingredients. Make them soft or crunchy, thin, or thick, whatever your child prefers!

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°. Line of baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add your pumpkin, flour, melted butter, cinnamon, baking soda, and sugar, if you are putting that in. Mixed together until dough forms.
  3. Roll your dough out onto a flower surface and flatten to as thin or thick of crackers as you like. Cut into the cracker shape. Place on the parchment paper.
  4. Place pan in the oven and bake for 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the crunchiness that is desired.
  5. Sprinkle with sea salt if you want and enjoy.
