Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- 1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2. In a large bowl, or the bowl of a stand mixer, using the paddle attachment or had mixer, beat the maple sugar, butter, Mixed Up Craft Maple Bliss nut butter, and egg until well blended.
- 3. Add in the flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Mix together until a dough forms.
- 4. Using a small spring-loaded cookie dough scoop, scoop balls of the dough and place them on the parchment lined baking sheet, about 2 inches apart. (These cookies will spread, so ensure there is enough room between them.)
- 5. Place in the oven and bake for 9-11 minutes. They should be golden brown when fully cooked.
- 6. Immediately place a Gem in the center of the cookie. If you like more, you can add a few into the cookie.
- 7. Wait until the cookie are fully cooled before removing them from the baking sheet.
Notes
*You can use more chocolate gems and add them to the batter if you'd like a richer cookie.
