Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Place your oil in a large dutch oven and turn heat to medium
  2. Place the beef in a bowl and sprinkle the arrowroot on top
  3. Sprinkle a healthy pinch of salt and pepper on top and toss till the meat is coated
  4. Once the oil is hot, put the beef in the pan and brown on all sides
  5. Remove the meat from the pan and put in chopped-up onions and mushrooms, pour the wine and broth in, and simmer, scraping up the bottom bits
  6. Then cover and simmer for 20 mins
  7. After 20 mins, remove the lid and, using an immersion blender, blend up the mushrooms and onions until there aren't any more chunks
  8. Add in everything else, including the beef
  9. Stir, cover with the lid, and place in the oven at 350° for 3 hrs
  10. Enjoy!
