i LOVE a good ole crab cake... but with a mexican flare?! 10/10 🌶️🦀 made with masa's beef tallow tortilla chips, green chiles, & primal palate’s taco seasoning, then layered with guac, cotija, & siete’s jalapeño botana sauce. gluten-free, high-protein, & absolutely unreal.
Ingredients

- 3 - 4 oz3 - 4 oz3 - 4 oz Traditional Tortilla Chips - Masa, green chile flavor

- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Golden Monkfruit Sweetener (with Allulose) - Lakanto

- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Taco Seasoning - Primal Palate

- 5 oz5 oz5 oz Green Chiles, Fire Roasted

- 2 lb2 lb2 lb Lump Crab Meat, or 1# crab + 1# canned salmon
- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Cottage Cheese

mexican crab cakes
- preheat oven to 400.
- add the tortilla chips, monk fruit, & seasonings to a food processor & blitz a few times into a finer crumble.
- to a bowl, add crunchy mixture + remaining crab cake ingredients.
- form into 16 patties, then place on a baking sheet & bake for 12-15 minutes or until reaches internal temperature of 165.
assembling sliders
- make grain-free hamburger buns & guacamole.
- to a grain-free hamburger bun, add guacamole → mexican crab cake → guacamole → cotija or queso fresco cheese → drizzle of jalapeno hot sauce → secure other bun on top.
- serve with extra guacamole + masa corn tortilla chips & veggies for dipping.
