Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Slice sweet potato into 1/2" rounds. Spray them with avocado cooking spray and sea salt
  2. Bake at 400 for 30-40 minutes, flipping halfway, until desired level of crispiness
  3. Make cream sauce
  4. Melt butter in a sauce pan , then whisk in flour
  5. Add cream and allow to simmer 4-5 minutes over medium heat
  6. Stir in parmesan and spices
  7. If your mixture is too thick thin with several tbsp of milk
  8. Can set aside until ready to use (also refrigerates and reheats well, as you will have extra)
  9. Make caramelized onions
  10. Thinly slice your onion, and place in preheated skillet with olive oil
  11. Cook over low-med heat roughly 15 minutes, stirring regularly
  12. Once soft, add tamari and stir to coat
  13. Set onion aside, and use the pan to cook your steak
  14. Heat skillet with olive oil, and layer your stew beef cubes without overcrowding the pan.
  15. Sprinkle with steak seasoning and cook 2-3 minutes per side
  16. When ready, assemble your sliders with sweet potato rounds, steak cubes, caramelized onions, parmesan cream sauce, fresh thyme, and freeze dried cherry tomatoes for an extra crunch
  17. Enjoy!

Notes

You'll most likely have leftover onions and cream sauce. Store both in an airtight container in the fridge and reheat a few minutes on the stove prior to enjoying with your next dish
