Easy Carrot Fries With Hot Honey
Craving something sweet and spicy? I got just the thing! These carrot fries sprinkled with feta and covered in hot honey make for the perfect side dish to complement any meal.
Ingredients
- 4 whole4 whole4 whole Carrots, Chopped into strips
- 3 Tbsp3 Tbsp3 Tbsp Hot Honey - Zoë Olive Oil

- 5 Tbsp5 Tbsp5 Tbsp Italian Seasoning, (I used Zoë Olive Oil Tuscan Herbs Rub Kit)

- 5 Tbsp5 Tbsp5 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil, (or more, if needed - I used Zoë Olive Oil)

- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Salt, (to taste)

- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Black Pepper, (to taste)

- 0.333 cup0.333 cup0.333 cup Feta Cheese, Crumbled
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Hummus, (for the base)

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Preheat your oven to 400 F
- Wash and peel your carrots
- Pat your carrots dry
- Cut your carrots into halves
- Line your carrots into a baking dish
- Season to taste with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, OR your Tuscan Herbs Rub Kit
- Coat the carrots generously in extra virgin olive oil
- Toss the carrots around in your dish to ensure an even coating of seasonings
- Distribute 1 tbsp of your Hot Honey onto the top of the carrots
- Place your baking dish into the oven once preheated
- Roast for about 20-25min depending on the strength of your oven
- Once charred, place your carrots onto a bed of hummus
- Sprinkle with your crumbled feta and remaining hot honey
- Serve warm & enjoy!
Notes
Feel free to get creative with this recipe. Any spices work and you can also opt-out of using hummus as your base! Serve as is if you wish. I recommend serving right out of the oven.
