Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Place your thawed egg roll wrappers onto a dry cutting board and coat the four corners with egg wash.
  2. Fill your wrappers in the center with your apple pie filling, about 1 tbsp per wrapper.
  3. Fold the egg rolls appropriately and set them aside on a plate.
  4. Repeat the process until there are no more wrappers.
  5. Use an fryer or a simple pot on the stove with neutral oil.
  6. Flip constantly to ensure all sides of your egg roll are fried to a golden crisp (about 5 minutes total, depending on your temperature).
  7. When you see the wrappers are golden with bubbles, they're ready.
  8. Toss the freshly fried rolls into your cinnamon sugar mixture and serve.
  9. Sprinkle with icing sugar if you're feeling fancy, and serve with a dipping sauce!

Notes

I've tried to air fy these, but they don't come out the same! This recipe makes 24 egg rolls. Feel free to serve with any dipping sauce of your choice.
