10-Minute Guacamole Recipe
This 10-Minute Guacamole is fresh, simple, and packed with flavor. Made with ripe avocados, lime, tomato, and a handful of simple seasonings, it comes together in minutes for an easy dip you can serve with chips, tacos, or bowls. It's always a crowd favorite and works when you need a last-minute appetizer or condiment for Taco Tuesday.
I've been making this restaurant-style guacamole for years and love to enjoy it as a Whole30 appetizer or side for my shrimp fajita tacos. Save this for Cinco de Mayo!

- 3 Tbsp3 Tbsp3 Tbsp Cilantro, chopped
- .25 tsp.25 tsp.25 tsp Cumin, Ground

- .25 tsp.25 tsp.25 tsp Garlic Powder

- .25 tsp.25 tsp.25 tsp Kosher Salt

- .125 tsp.125 tsp.125 tsp Black Pepper

- Add avocado and lime juice to a medium bowl. Mash with a fork, leaving some chunks.
- Stir in diced tomato, red onion, and cilantro.
- Add cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well, taste, and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
How to Keep Guacamole from Browning
- Press plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the guacamole to keep air out before refrigerating.
- Add lime juice to the avocado as soon as it’s mashed. The acidity helps slow oxidation and keep the guacamole green longer.
